“I chose optometry as my profession because of the amazing latitude in patient care available, from clarifying and refining visual needs to accessing various ocular health conditions and providing treatments. The eye is beautiful in every aspect, beautiful in appearance and function.

“I enjoy the wonderful diversity of patient encounters I have everyday. I love working with kids, their parents and grandparents. It’s a family experience for all of us. I enjoy being able to provide improvements to each patient’s visual experience and function, which makes an impact on their everyday kind of life.

“My philosophy of patient care is an extension of my faith and that is to serve and care for the person in front of me, as if I were to serve my Lord and family. I am by no means perfect. But, I believe if I serve my patient beyond the exam data and treatment regimens, I can give them a much more fulfilling experience and sense of wellbeing, in which we are all connected.

“I hope to give my patients the sharpest visual outcome I can, to help improve their vision and prevent and treat ocular heath conditions that may threaten their eyesight and visual lifestyle. I believe our practice excels at holistic family eye care services supplemented by state-of the-art technologies, for helping detect and treat ocular heath conditions. I believe we provide excellent visual services and convey a sense of value for each of our patients and their visual needs.”

On a Personal Note:
“My personal interests are centered on my family. I have two young boys and a beautiful and wonderful wife. The boys are young. So, they infuse me with energy and joy every time I come home, which is good because I definitely need the energy to keep up with them. For hobbies, I love music and outdoor activities. Growing up in Alaska helped to instill within me a sense of wonder and beauty about the world we live in. Also, my faith in Jesus is critical in every aspect of my life.  Our family is part of a very active local church, which seeks to serve, support and love each community member here in Yakima.”
